Overview
This flow describes how to view consents recorded for an encounter, as cards or full records.
Pre-requisites
- The patient is registered and you open an encounter.
- At least one consent is recorded.
- You have Can view clinical data about patients or Can Read encounter related clinical data.
Steps
1. Open the Consents tab
Open the encounter and select Consents. Care shows each consent as a card.
2. Review cards
| Component | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Category badge | Consent category. |
| Expired badge | The validity period has passed. |
| Supporting documents | Attached file names, or "No files attached". |
| Decision badge | Permitted or Denied. |
| Status badge | Consent status. |
| Consent Given On | Date and time consent was given. |
| Valid Period | Period for which consent stays valid. |
3. Search
Enter a file name above the cards. Care shows consents with an attached file of that name.
4. Open the full record
Select See Details. The record shows supporting documents, note, category, date, valid period, decision, and status. You can view or download each file.
Expected Outcome
- All encounter consents appear as cards.
- The selected consent's full record opens.
