Flows/Update an organization

Overview

Change the name and description of a government organization.

Only a Care superuser can update a government organization.

From Admin, select Organizations, then Governance.

Select the organization's parent to list its children.

Select Edit on the organization card. The shared form is titled Edit Department/Team.

Change the name or description, then select Update Organization.

📝 Note

You cannot change the parent from this form.

Care confirms the update and shows the new details in the hierarchy.
