Overview
This flow describes how to create a new role in Care.
Pre-requisites
- You are a super administrator in Care.
Permissions
Only a super administrator can create a role.
Steps
1. Open Roles
Open the Admin sidebar. Select RBAC, then Roles.
2. Open the form
Select Add Role.
3. Complete the details
| Component | What it captures |
|---|---|
| Name | A unique name. Required. |
| Description | The purpose of the role. Optional. |
| Contexts | Facility, Government Organization, or Responsibility. |
| Permissions | One or more actions that the role allows. |
Use Search permissions, Select All, or Clear to manage the list.
4. Save
Select Create Role.
Expected Outcome
Care confirms creation and adds an editable custom role to the list.
