CARE Core

CARE Core is the stable platform slab of CARE. It provides the reusable primitives on which plugins and packaged solutions are built. The current release is CARE Core 3.0.0, built on FHIR R5.

Modules

CARE Core groups its capabilities into modules:

• Administration — patients, facilities and users.
• Definitions — value sets and questionnaires.
• Clinical — encounters and observations.
• Scheduling — schedules, slots and bookings.
• Pharmacy — dispensing and inventory.
• Labs — service requests and diagnostics.
• Billing — claims, coverage and invoices.

Runtime

• Runtime: Django, DRF, Celery.
• Persistence: PostgreSQL, Redis, object storage.
• Plugin runtime: hosts CARE Apps such as AI Scribe, TeleICU, imaging, devices, messaging and analytics.

Platform slab

CARE Core provides the stable slab; plugins add capabilities and together they enable hospital, critical care, home care, clinic and public-health solutions.
